  03 October 2018       Tripindigo       5 min read

Tanzania is an ideal destination for a golfing getaway with some of the best courses in East Africa. Whether you are an avid golfer or a learner, you will find yourself a golf course with superb scenery and excellent play in the country. There are several championship-level golf courses for professionals as well as some public courses for average hackers.

Here’s our pick of the top golf clubs in Tanzania!

1. Kilimanjaro Golf and Wildlife Estate

Quite literally majestic and magnificent, this over 1000 acres of a golf course is situated between Mt. Meru and Mt. Kilimanjaro. Needless to say, the views are spectacular. The estate has a golf club with an 18-hole championship golf course, which is the first in Tanzania. Kiligolf hosts local and international tournaments, club nights and other golfing events. In and around the golf course there are well-designed properties available for sale and one such purchase entitles one to direct membership at the golf club.
