Nakuru is one of the largest cities in Kenya and it’s located in the North-western part of Nairobi. Nakuru isn't dominated by a single tribe but a wide range of tribes. You will definitely feel the diversity in the festivals, food, events, and culture. Situated just outside Naivasha town, Lake Naivasha draws a huge array of wildlife to its shores – including buffalo, giraffes and hippos. The lake offers excellent wildlife viewing opportunities. Parading over 350 bird species and counting, Lake Naivasha is a great birding destination.
Visitors to Nakuru cannot claim to have a complete experience without checking out the mind-blowing Hell’s Gate National Park. It is situated close to Lake Naivasha, a perfect spot for rock climbing and biking. The park supports a thriving population of wildlife, which includes cheetahs, leopards, and lions.
