Tabora Airport is an airport situated in west-central part Tanzania serving the region of Tabora. The airport itself is a mere 8 kilometres south of the town making travel to and from the airport quick and but not as easy as you may think. To access the Tabora airport you will need to take the gravel Tabora to Ndembelwa village road, and then a three-kilometre airport access gravel road. The airport is also subject to flooding during heavy rains during certain parts of the year.
Runway 08/26 is used as a taxiway to the terminal and hangar; there is no separate taxiway. The airport has a terminal building while also having other small amenities like a hangar, a motor vehicle garage, and the control tower.
