Not to Miss During Flights
You will get an amazing view of the country as you travel from the Northern inland to the east coast of Tanzania. You will also have to pass over the Serengeti National Park, Maswa Game Reserve, Ngorongoro Conversation Area, Lake Manyara and the Tarangire National park on your journey so be on the lookout.
On the climb out after a couple of minutes, you’ll have a chance of spotting Kilimanjaro in the distance in the east (to your left), and her famous cousin Mount Meru. On your south-easterly heading, the plane will cross into the Ngorongoro Conservancy. Ask the pilot to point out the world famous Ngorongoro Crater, whose plains 700 meters below the crater rim teem with wildlife.
As aircraft servicing bush destinations do not fly nearly as high as big jets, you’ll feel that you’ve never lost touch with the ground below. This is an opportunity to watch the plains go by, see villages and settlements seamlessly integrated with the surrounding bush.
